When you select a specific database (through the Library website) it will prompt you to enter:

Verbal communication obstacles

Assignment #4 Language:

How does verbal communication create obstacles (vocabulary, slang, stereotypes, jargon, euphemisms, trigger words, polarizing, or imprecise language) in our society? Find a news article using EBSCOhost (through ECC Library) where verbal communication creates cultural divide or misunderstandings. Find an article that relates to any of the following: culture, politics, gender, religion, etc.

NOTE: Please do not use the "n" word as an example for this assignment.
