How to find permalinks for library resources, books, articles and database searching at East Central College

Chronicle of Higher Education includes free articles and restricted, premium subscription articles. East Central College Library subscribes to the premium account, so full site access is available.

For the Chronicle of Higher Education premium database, the document URL is in the web address box.

Be sure to copy the entire URL:

  • When you copy the URL, do not include any brackets <> that may enclose the URL. 
  • You will need to add the proxy URL to all Chronicle URLs, especially "premium" content
