Most Children and All Teens Can Get COVID-19 Vaccines
CDC recommends everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines for their age group:
Children and teens ages 6 months–17 years
Adults ages 18 years and older
Pediatricians Anna Sick-Samuels, M.D., M.P.H., of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, and Allison Messina, M.D., of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, answer questions for parents and guardians.
Michelle Johnson, a cardiologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering, says that these heart issues are very rare, treatable, and not as dangerous as COVID-19 itself.
