International Education Week

It highlights programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the U.S.

International Education Week (IEW), November 18-22, 2019, is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences  (https://iew.state.gov/)

Scavenger Hunt - week long

Answer 1 or all 13 questions in the International Education Week Scavenger Hunt!

13 questions are hung up in hallways around Union’s ECC campus (excluding ECTC and BIC).  They are all framed with purple paper and a yellow IEW square.  Just scan the QR code with your device’s camera to be taken to the google form.  Enter the correct answer, your name and contact number. 

Each correct answer is an entry into a drawing for 1 of 4 gift certificates to a local establishment in Union.  Entries accepted until Friday November 22 at 10 am.  Winners will be announce Monday November 25.

Ms. Brock will talk about her year abroad in South Africa.

 

ECC Library hosts their monthly Board Game Night. 
This month's Theme is International Board Games.
