This event will now be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. This event is an opportunity for all students and employees to engage and gather both creatively and safely. If you are interested in performing, please complete this form by April 26, 2021 to schedule your act.

This Open Mic Night is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate creative expression and talent within our ECC community. However, all performers are responsible for presenting acts that align with ECC’s Student Conduct Policy (BP3.17) in the Student Handbook. ECC activities are designed to reflect the College’s Mission Statement of “empowering students and enriching communities through education.”

Poetry Reading - Sara Burge

Sara Burge received her M.F.A. in poetry from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Her poems have appeared in Court Green, MARGIE, Poet Lore, River Styx, and The Virginia Quarterly Review, and other journals. She teaches poetry writing at Missouri State University. Her book Apocalypse Ranch won the De Novo Prize for First Book of Poetry.
