Keynote speaker Amy Hunter, Manager of Diversity and Inclusion for St. Louis Children’s Hospital. At St. Louis Children's Hospital she is responsible for leading diversity and inclusion strategies, implementation and measurement for the hospital. She has presented TEDx Talk “Lucky Zip Codes” and appeared on multiple TV networks and NPR.
Church Women United will present their annual Human Rights Award.
Musical and praise dancing will be performed. Light refreshments will follow.

I Am Not Your Negro is a documentary based off James Baldwin’s unfinished manuscript, which was a personal account of the live and assassinations of three of his close friends: Medgar Evers, Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Professor Barbara Baumgartner will give a guest lecture before the film. Baumgartner is a senior lecturer and director of undergraduate studies in the Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Washington University, where she teaches the course "Before Thelma and Louise: American Women Adventure Stories.” She has published articles on nineteenth-century American women's literature, including a recent publication on Emily Dickinson's use of the brain in her poetry. Her teaching includes courses on women's literature, women's health, and women in science. She is also the Associate Director for the Washington University Prison Education Project. " - Leigh Kolb.
The Academy Award-winning film Thelma & Louise (1991) follows two women--a waitress and a housewife--on a weekend trip that turns awry. The classic film will be followed by a discussion in honor of Women's History Month.
