*COL: International Education Week: Saturday 11/16/24 10:00 - 1:00 Union

It highlights programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the U.S.

International Festival on Saturday November 16, 2024. 

Hosted in the Donald S. Shook building, Gym, 2nd Floor
from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on the ECC Union Campus. 

This event is open to the public and for ALL AGES.

 

Country booths are hosted by community members and ECC students and staff.  There are many opportunities to learn about cultural elements of various countries, including crafts and games.

Cultural Performances

-10:30 am Traditional Chinese Dance with performers from the St. Louis Chinese Language School

-12:00 noon “Dances from Spain” performance by the St. Louis Flamenco Cultural Society

Traditional Dress Display highlights styles of cultural or historical significance of various countries.

Children's Activities will include puzzles, board games, and stories. 

- Children can visit the country booths to collect Passport stickers and turn in for a prize.
