For many years Libraries have been counting check-outs, visits, instruction class, and materials. East Central College not only considers these statistics but also assessment of services through surveys, pre/post tests and interactions to meet our goals, mission and continue to meet the needs of our students, staff and faculty. This guide provides raw data, analyzed surveys, and other measures as a means of assessing services and resources at East Central College Library.
The Donald R. and Barbara D. Means Library’s mission is to support the growth of knowledge in students, staff, faculty, and surrounding community.
This is achieved with friendly, qualified Library staff and their continued professional development; means to connect though online and in-person services at all locations; and promotional events and diverse displays.
The Library values providing its members with free access of online resources, technology, and encourages faculty to seek Open Education Resources as an affordable means of textbooks and course materials.
